Our Team

The CPRC brings together a transdisciplinary group of investigators and knowledge users, including outstanding internationally recognized researchers, emerging leaders and early career scientists who will collaborate across transdisciplinary boundaries. This large transdisciplinary group of researchers and knowledge users includes two Tier 1 Canada Research Chairs (CRCs), two endowed chairs, two chairs and many senior research administrators at UBC, including: SPPH Associate Directors (Partnerships and Community Engagement, Research) and the Chair, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. External to UBC are many key administrators and researchers, including the Implementation Director, Centre for Cancer Prevention and Support (CCPS), Canadian Cancer Society; Directors of CAREX, CANUE and CanPath; and from BC Cancer: Executive Director, Prevention, Screening, and Hereditary Cancer, and Scientific Director of Cancer Prevention.

The CPRC will be led by the Steering Committee, which will be formed by the Research Pillar Leads, who will collaboratively support integration across the wider team member disciplines. To support EDI and career development, each pillar has implemented a co-lead structure, with at least one early or mid-career investigator co-leading.
