Lifestyle Behaviours and Cancer Risk
The Lifestyle Behaviours and Cancer Risk pillar will focus on research that spans the major cancer behavioural risk factors, including diet, physical activity, obesity, tobacco, as well as occupational and environmental exposures. To tackle the challenge of implementing behaviour change at a population level, this pillar will translate research into actionable population health activities that will impact individual and community-level cancer risk. The CPRC will also collaborate with key knowledge users, cancer advocacy groups, as well as experts and practitioners in primary care to support these research efforts.
The Lifestyle Behaviours and Cancer Risk pillar is led by Dr. Rachel Murphy and Dr. Kristin Campbell.
